This refers to a last minute appointment granted to my daughter after a sporting accident at school. Dr Maung is one of the few healthcare professionals I've met that delivers 'the whole package' - expertise, patience, listening skills, demeanour, genuine interest, thoroughness - the list is almost endless. Nothing is too much trouble. He puts patients at ease, thoroughly but sensitively examines them, and speaks to them competently but in language they will understand, without insulting their intelligence in the process. Dr Maung is an exemplar of professionalism and some other GPs - especially at other practices in our rather small village - would do well to imitate him. Recommended without reservation.

Dr Maung is one of very few medical professionals that I trust. I find it easy to speak to him about any problem and he is always informative, helpful and caring. The last few years I've needed help with repeated flare ups of health problems. When I see Dr Maung I feel relieved that it's an appointment with a doctor who knows me and who, although incredibly busy, always gives you as much of his time as possible. Even in more recent times, when I've had to go to A&E then being admitted to hospital, I was so scared but his kind words and reassurances helped me cope with such a terrifying ordeal. I'm thankful to have the best General Practitioner who is not only extremely knowledgeable, experienced and sympathetic but also a very kind and lovely person too. Dr Maung is a shining star of the NHS.

Dr Maung has looked after me for the past 5 years and as with all the doctors nurses and office staff given me the best treatment any one could wish for. This has to be as far as I'm concerned the best practice within our area. I would recommend this practice to everyone
